Top Ten Tuesday: Freebie: Sequels That Were Better Than The First Book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke And The Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I saw Frozen 2 over the weekend and it was INCREDIBLE and I thought it was even better than the first, so that has inspired my freebie topic choice for this week. Book sequels that were better than the first book. It can be hard for sequels to live up to the first book, but these lived up to them and more.

  1. Ooh I've only read the first Briggs book. And I love those Mafi covers! I should try those one of these days.

  3. Oooh nice topic! Great picks too! I've read and LOVED all of these except for the third row. I have to agree with you on all of them. I feel like with most series the next one is always a little better than the previous one!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  6. Absolutely agree about ACOMAF! I liked ACOTAR but ACOMAF and ACOWAR are by far the better books. I really need to get around to finally reading Jennifer L. Armentrout, she's been on my TBR forEVER!

  7. In my experience, it's rare for sequels to be better. I think it's very cool you found so many sequels that were better than their originals.

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
