On My Shelf: Seraphina by: Rachel Hartman

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

I grabbed this one from Book Outlet because the cover is stunning and because DRAGONS! But then I read Tess Of The Road, which while not a direct sequel, is still the same world and I really just didn't love it, so it leaves me curious as to how I will feel about this one.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. I've heard of this book, but I haven't read this one before. I love dragons as well so I can see why you've wanted to read this one too. I get why you have issues with reading the sequel not sequel and being hesitant to read another book. I get the same way. I sometimes read the first five chapters and then I'm able to decide if I like the book or not.

  2. I've heard really good things about this one, so maybe it's just the spinoff that has issues. I'd give it a try. You can always DNF if you're not liking it. :)

  4. There is just something about dragons that make me want to pick up a book. I haven't read this one but hope you enjoy it if you do decide to give it a try.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
