Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I Read In 2018

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke And The Bookish and now hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

I am SO excited for this week because I love sharing my favorite books. So here they are, my top ten favorite reads of 2018 (and a few honorable mentions). I tried to not feature an author more than once (with SJM being an exception because those books are my favessss).

Kingdom of Ash is definitely my favorite book of the year. This is one of my all time favorite series and this conclusion delivered in every single way. Aelin is such a powerhouse and I was always Team Aelin. And Rowan owns my heart. All these characters own my heart really. I'm already re-reading the series because I'm not ready to say goodbye. My Review.

I have enjoyed every book in the Night Huntress Universe, but Shades of Wicked is easily one of my all time favorites. It is the best book in the series since one of the earlier Cat & Bones books. I adore Ian so so much. My Review.

It was so great going back to the Lux world and oh man did Luc give Daemon a run for his money. And I adored Evie as well. This was such an amazing start to this new spin off series. My Review.

It was so difficult picking an M. Leighton book to feature this year because she had so many good releases. But in the end, Tequila High holds my heart. It just has so much heart and romance, all served with a side of heartache. My Review.

This book ripped my heart to shreds, but it was oh so good. This world is so brutal but the story is captivating and I just adore the characters. My Review.

I know this wasn't all that popular, but I loved it because it delivered exactly what it promised-- a bridge to the new spin off series and just some happy times with Rhys and Feyre. My Review.

This book broke my heart, but I still loved it. I have come to loves Jules and Emma and all of these characters so much. I just cannot say goodbye to the Shadowhunter world. My Review.

Loved this book so much. So many twists and turns and I never  knew who to trust. And our heroine is such a badass and so smart. My Review.

This book has an amazing concept and it delivered. Such a wonderful, complex heroine and I am dying for the sequel. My Review.

Star Wars meets Anastasia meets Pirates. This book was so addictive and so different and so good. My Review.

  2. I've never read a book by Jennifer, but would really like to (I think I own two books in her contemporary series about the motorcycle group). Also, I meant to read Heart of Iron in 2018, but alas, didn't! That's what 2019 is for I guess. Happy reading and 2019, Teresa. :)

  6. Lord of Shadows and Lady Midnight made my list too (I just combined all the Shadowhunter's books into one spot on the list, LOL). I need to read Kingdom of Ash this year, and the ACOTAR series. I was given The Darkest Star, but first I have to read the earlier Lux books. Have a great reading year in 2019! I feel it's going to be full of amazing books.
