On My Shelf: The Vincent Brothers by: Abbi Glines

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

So, over the years I have kinda lost interest in most of Abbi Glines books. There are just so many to keep up with, and the few I tried to read recently were just meh to me. However... when I read The Vincent Boys I absolutely loved it and I remember being really excited for this one. Somehow, I just never got around to it and because I didn't love some of her others books I'm a bit worried about this one, but I also wanna know how this series ends.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. I hear you on this! I read the first one and then didn't go any further. It was good don't get me wrong and I even bought the others I guess I just lost interest in them for whatever reason.

  2. While I can't heard you with this decision since I haven't read this series yet, I do have the Vincent Boys books on my TBR shelf at home.

I have to say I know exactly how you feel when you buy an author because you love their books, but then some of their books become meh and you can't pick them up. When that happens I just tend to try and dive right in and if it doesn't work out I stop buying the others books without reading extensive teasers and excerpts and samples.

I hope you can figure out if Abbi Glines is still an author you're interested in.

  3. I have a bunch of kindle books written by this author but haven't read any of her work. I hope you enjoy this one if you do decide to give it a try.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
