Authors In The City 2018 Recap

This past weekend was Authors In The City in NYC and it was a great time. The event had a fun lineup and the organizers did a wonderful job putting this event together. This event was much calmer than a lot of the other events I have been to and it was so nice. There was also the nice perk where bloggers got to go in a half hour earlier. Because I didn't have many authors I had books for this time around I was actually able to get all my books signed before the signing officially started. So while it was a quick event for me I still had fun.

The main reason I hit up this event was for Jennifer L. Armentrout. It's been a few years since I have been to one of her signings, so I had some books I wanted to get signed. She was as nice as ever and it is always great to see her! Also so happy my copy of Unchained is finally signed because that is one of my all time favorites from her!

I was terrible at taking pictures for this event! But I also got to see Emma Chase, Laura Kaye, Joanne Schweme, and AM Madden. All of them were so incredibly nice and gracious.

And probably most fun of all I got to catch up with some of my minxes! It is always so much fun when I get to see Lauren (Cherry Reds Reads) and Donna (The Whispering Pages). I adore both of these ladies so damn much!

So for this event I was trying to behave myself and not go book buying crazy, so I only brought books to get signed that I already owned. And at the event I only bought one book, Getting Schooled by Emma Chase, because have you SEEN that cover and because Lauren is a book pusher (and I love her for it)!

So, all in all, Authors In The City was a fun event and I already can't wait for my next signing.

  1. I knew there would be no way you'd miss JLA if she was there! I wish I could come over and go to some of these amazing events you guys have in the US! Glad you had a great time Teresa!

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
