On My Shelf: The 5th Wave by: Rick Yancey

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

A few years ago I went to a signing because Richelle Mead was there, but she was joined by a couple other authors and Rick Yancey was one of them. So I grabbed this while I was at the signing. At the time it was getting a ton of hype and it sounded like a book I would enjoy. Of course it has now been sitting on my shelf for years and hasn't been touched. I kinda forgot about it until I was rearranging my shelves recently.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. This was/is a very popular series! It's sci-fi so theoretically I should be all over this book, but I never really got into it. Ehhh, there is enough to read, right? If you read this one, I hope you enjoy it, Teresa!

    Have a wonderful weekend. =)

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
