On My Shelf: The Edge Of Never by: J.A. Redmerski

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

I grabbed this book for my kindle ages and ages ago... pretty sure I grabbed it early in my blogging days. I remember a time when everyone was reading it and loving it. For whatever reason I never got around to it. I am 100% positive that the Teresa who bought this book would have adored it, but it's today Teresa that I'm not so sure about and it wouldn't even be the books fault. At this point, I've probably read a bunch of books similar to this and even though this came first it didn't for me (if that makes any sense). So basically I just need to know if this one stands the test of time.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. I love how you word things Teresa. I definitly have had the same problem with books. I buy so many and they get pushed to the wayside. I know when I buy them that they're for me, but then time goes by and BAM you're a different person. Not the books fault. I have to say I didn't like this book. I felt it was waaay to much about the sex and the story was kind of sprinkled in barely. The characters didn't click with me. It was just meh.

  2. Yeah, the hype was big, with this book! This type of fiction really isn't for me, sadly. If you read this book, I hope you enjoy it, Teresa!

    Have a wonderful weekend. =)

  3. Wifey, wifey, wifey! We discussed this book! But it was a while back. I think I even bought you this book. Lol. It's funny, I almost DNF'd this book because the very beginning is so irritating. But then. There is a road trip romance that gives all the swoons. At least it did. I'm kind of with you -- this was a great book for us back in 2013. I'm just not sure if it would work for us now, and you know I just can't handle the genre anymore. I still love Andrew; he was wonderful, and his relationship with Camryn was a lot of fun, until the predictable ending. Hold onto it because you might enjoy it one of these days, but I've got many more books that I'd rather you read right now. *squish*

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
