On My Shelf: The Testing by: Joelle Charbonneau

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

I think I snagged this book at NYCC a few years ago and then I of course never got around to it. It sounded like an awesome read but I kinda got over the dystopian genre and never read it. Dystopian books have been very hit or miss for me so not sure how I feel about this one anymore.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. I always pass that book at the book store and always tell myself I'm going to read it (I've seen the author speak twice now) but never have. I just got Dividing Eden so maybe that will give me the necessary nudge.

  2. I still have this one on my shelf to be read as well! I won a signed ARC back in the day - the ARC is SOOO cool but somehow the story never really grabbed me and I never read the book. And yet, I can't seem to part with the ARC. o_o Maybe someday!

Have a great weekend, Teresa! =)

  3. As much as I read much less dystopian books than I used to, I still like the genre once and awhile! I'm definitely wanting to read this one^^ too! I've heard a lot of positive things about it from trusted blogger friends!

  4. I love the blue in that cover! Gorgeous! This sounds good -- maybe we'll be in the mood to pick this up one of these days. *smoosh*

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
