On My Shelf: Emblaze by: Jessica Shirvington

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

I read books one and two in this series ages ago and I remember thinking book one was okay and the second was good. The thing with these is that I remember them being super high on the angst and I have to be in the right mood for angst, which is why I haven't gotten around to it. It's been so long that I don't know if it is worth diving back into this world, but part of me is curious where it all goes.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. Oooo, I didn't know this series was angsty. I haven't read any of this author's books, but I remember seeing this series publish random fire back in the day. If you finish the series, I hope you enjoy the books! =)

  2. I think that the first book in the series is on my tbr shelf because these sound familiar^^ You're right though: you do have to be in the right mood for angst - I get you :)

  3. I haven't heard of this series, wifey. I agree about being in the right mood for angst. It does sound good, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts when you get to this one.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
