On My Shelf: Dearly, Beloved by: Lia Habel

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

I got this book ages ago when I met the author at NYCC and got the book signed. I had read and loved book one but then I never got around to this sequel. I remember loving this take on zombies and I can't believe I have sat on this book so long.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. Oh yeah, I have this on my shelf as well, Teresa. I won a signed copy and *still* haven't read it. Some day we'll have time to read *ALL* the books, right?!?

  2. Oooo, that's so cool that you met the author and got the book signed! I remember seeing it publish years ago. I haven't read it though. o_o

    Have a great weekend, Teresa!

  3. So, this amazing person I know gave me the first book in this series for my birthday in the very first year of our friendship. Hold on a moment while I bask in the FEELS! I absolutely loved it (ADORE Nora and Bram!!) and of course grabbed this next installment. I planned on getting to it, but then I read about the struggle with the publisher and the author and the uncertainty of the next book... and I guess I thought I'd wait and see. I'm thinking we should buddy-read this one in the very near future 'cause BRAM!! Love you, lobster <3

    1. Gahh I'm remembering how much I love Bram now... I did the same as you and waited because of the publisher stuff but now I think we just need to read it together.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
