On My Shelf: Deadly Little Lessons by: Laurie Faria Stolarz

On My Shelf is a feature I started here on the blog and I'm sure there are a ton of similar ones out there, but basically I just wanted to start spotlighting some of the MANY backlist titles I have accumulated on my shelf and kindle. The idea is to spotlight an older book I have on my massive TBR. I also thought it would be a fun way to discuss these books with my fellow bloggers, get some of your thoughts and figure out which ones I need to read ASAP and which ones can wait a bit more. And if you want to join in too, I would love to see what is on your shelf! Just leave me a link in the comments.

Years ago now, back in my pre-blogging days, I binge read the first four books in this series and really enjoyed them. I then settled in to wait for the final fifth book to release. However, once it came out I was in full on blogging mode. We all know how those first few months of blogging are. I got caught up and when it released I just never got around to it. It is now 2016 and I still haven't read it! I don't even really remember much of the series, except that I loved Ben and was cranky that those two hadn't figured things out yet. So I think I really need to make time for this one soon so I can close the door on this series and hopefully I still enjoy it as much as I did a few years ago.

So tell me. Have you read it? Did you love it? Hate it? Was it meh?

  1. I've never even heard of this series (at least I don't think - I'll have to check on GR) but I know what you mean: time almost slips away when you start blogging with new releases, writing posts and trying to stay up to date. Hopefully you'll love it as much as the rest of the series when you get around to reading it :) Happy Friday ♥

  2. I haven't picked this one up or even heard about it so I'm not any help but the premise sounds cool!!

  3. Hey! I've read this series and had the exact same experience with it as you did. I know I enjoyed the first books in the series when I binged them. But, as I suck with series, by the time this one came out, I didn't read it. Now I feel like I'd have to go back and reread all the books in order to enjoy this one because I pretty much have NO IDEA what happened in the series and what I enjoyed so much about it. Funny how that happens, no?

  4. I so feel you on that -- I have a few series that happened to, as well. I don't know anything about this particular book, but I like the cover! *smish*

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
