Book Review: Tied To Trouble (Gamers #3) by: Megan Erickson

Release Date: January 4, 2016
from Entangled Brazen
Goodreads | Amazon

"Between love and hate, there's a whole lot of trouble…

Chad Lake only showed up at his sister's party for the free food, but when he spots an uptight nerd at the edge of the crowd, he can't resist trying to ruffle the guy's perfect bow tie and impeccable hair. The hottie's ready for him, though, and in the end, it's Chad who's left wide-eyed, his ears still ringing with the filthy things Bow Tie whispered in his ear. No one gets the upper hand on Chad. Ever.

Owen Hawkins has heard all about the cocky Adonis from Chad's sister—the same sister who holds Owen's career advancement in her hands. He has every intention of steering clear of the other man…until Chad's sexy taunts push him too far. There's something intriguing about Chad, and even though Owen knows that getting tangled up with the infuriating man is trouble, he can't seem to stay away…

**This is part of an M/F series but can be read as standalone**"

My Thoughts:

The first thing I said upon finishing Changing His Game was “when does Chad get a story?”. I was then super disappointed to learn that he wasn’t in the lineup for the trilogy. I adored Chad and his personality and I wanted needed more of him. Then came the announcement for Tied To Trouble and well you can only imagine my excitement. Chad was getting a book! With Owen! I was so excited and I was right to be excited. This is easily my favorite of the series and I adored both Chad and Owen.

Chad and Owen are opposites in almost every way, but I think those differences make them work even better. Obviously Chad was my favorite. He has been since Changing His Game, but I adored Owen too. I think what I loved most about this book was how much I related to both Chad and Owen. In a lot of ways I feel like I am a mesh of the two. I’m witty and sarcastic and make everything a joke like Chad, but I’m also organized and like routine and my books and quiet like Owen. I guess that’s why I loved how they meshed so well as a couple. Their chemistry was explosive and I absolutely loved their banter. This book was just so much fun to read from beginning to end. I loved watching these two navigate through this new relationship and learning that what they thought they wanted wasn’t quite right.

Tied To Trouble was such a fun read and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Chowen was fantastic and the bow tie jokes were the highlight of the story. This series is so much fun because it’s so hot but so nerdy and it’s basically everything I never knew I wanted in a romance. I cannot recommend this book and this series enough.
