Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Enjoyed Recently That Weren't My Typical Type Of Book

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish.

I love the topic this week. I'm always looking to read something outside my comfort zone, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So here are some books that were not your normal Teresa books, but I loved them all the same. Whether it is something darker, more steamier than normal, or a YA contemp (cause I struggle with those)... these reads all had me slightly worried going in. Also I only have seven books this week, *shrugs*.

  1. Sometimes you only need seven books. I am sure I would only have about five outside my comfort zone. All seven off these are new to me.

  3. Lovely picks! I do like to pick up books that seem to be out of my comfort zone, but only every now and then do I pick one up and read it. I haven't read any of these, but Kick and Tank are ones I do want to try!

  4. I'm glad you liked the darker side of Carmen Jenner, Teresa. Those books appealed to me. I still have to read Sugartown!! I've also wanted to read Brighton Walsh and Robin LaFevers. Really, I just need more hours in the day to devote to reading. ;)

  5. I definitely need to read more outside of my usual genres -- I'm so glad you enjoyed all of those up there! <3

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
