Hamilton Book Tag

So I recently discovered that there is a Hamilton Book Tag floating around the internet (thanks Jess for showing me!). And I knew immediately that I had to do this tag because Hamilton is my newest obsession (along with basically the rest of the world). You can float on over here to check out the original creator of the tag. Now if you are going, what is this Hamilton, well then you must stop right now, head on over to Spotify/Amazon Prime Music and LISTEN ASAP.

The Room Where It Happens
A Book World You Put Yourself In

"We just assume that it happens. But no one else was in the room where it happens."

So for this one, my first instinct was to go with Harry Potter cause Hogwarts duh... but then I realized I ALWAYS pick Harry Potter for this kind of question. So I decided to make myself pick somewhere else. Then I decided on the Shadowhunter world because it is awesome.

The Schuyler Sisters
An Underrated Female Character

"You want a revolution I want a revelation."

I have always loved Tella and admired her determination and strength and I think she deserves more credit. She was not at all ready for what she was thrown into, but she handles it as best she can. I also love that she acts in a way I feel like I would in this kind of situation.

My Shot
A Character That Goes After What They Want And Doesn't Let Anything Stop Them

"I'm not throwing away my shot."

Celaena Sardothien... I'd love to see someone try and stop her once she decides she wants something.

You'll Be Back
Sassiest Villain

"You'll be the one complaining when I am gone."

The Darkling. Let me be clear, I am 100% Team Mal, but you can't deny that The Darkling is alluring and intriguing and scary and sassy.

The Reynolds Pamphlet
A Book With A Twist You Didn't See Coming

"Have you read this?"

Did not see this twist coming... at all... totally caught me off guard and I loved it.

Non- Stop
A Series You Marathoned

"Bright young man... yo who the eff is this?"

I didn't discover the original Iron Fey series until all of the books were out and once I read the first one I did not stop until I had finished them all. I adore this series and it was so addictive.

Satisfied
Favorite Book With Multiple POVs

"I'm about to change your life."

This question taught me that I don't read many multiple POV books, but of the ones I have read Loyalty is definitely my favorite. I love all of these characters and the different perspectives really made this final book great.

Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story
A Book/Series You Feel Will Be Remembered Throughout History

"You have no control who live who dies who tells your story."

Do I really need to explain further?

Okay so these next few questions were added by Lady Knight Reads and of course I had to do them too.

Helpless
A Relationship You Were Pulling For From The Very Start

"Grab my sister and whisper yo this one's mine."

CAT AND BONES! I love those two and I struggle to think of a couple I love more than them.

Ten Duel Commandments
Favorite Fight Scene

"Okay, so we're doing this."

I went with Midnight Captive because it has lots of fight scenes. Bailey is a badass and I loved watching her kick ass.

What Comes Next
A Series You Wish Had More Books

"You're on your own... awesome...wow."

I love Tori and Christian and it was so sad having to say goodbye to them.

Right-Hand Man
Favorite BRO-TP

"We gotta make an all out stand. Ayo, I'm gonna need a right hand man."

Will and Jem... there is no better bromance.

What'd I Miss
A Book Or Series You Were Late To Reading

"So what did I miss?"

I was super late reading Sabriel but once I got to it I of course loved it.

Well that was a ton of fun... I'm tagging anyone who loves Hamilton and books.

  1. I NEED TO DO THIS STILL. Now that it's the weekend maybe I can squeeze it in. Love that you chose The Darkling. I think he would be my pick too. He's so... UGH. Such a damn good villain. And yes that twist in Damaged Goods! I was like WHAT? hahah. I still really want to read Carrie Butler's series and of course I love Harry and the Iron Fey books!

  2. I loved this post and so many of the books you, and characters, you chose! And I'm hoping to start the third book in the Iron Fey series this week! (if work doesn't keep me too busy)

  3. Interesting tag. I keep seeing Hamilton around, but never gave it a second thought bc I'm not much into history and all that. Is that what it's about? lol. Anyways, I'm trying to think of another world I'd want to live in besides HP and yeah, nothing really comes up. Argh. I do agree that Will and Jem are the best!

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
