""I bet you have the softest pair of lips out there. And I bet you taste sweet— sweeter than one of those beignets you've got me addicted to." His hand squeezed around the back of my neck. "But you got one hell of a bite— a kick to that sweetness. It'll be rough getting in there, and you're going to fight it every step of the way, but it'll be smooth once I'm there." My eyes grew to the size of saucers. There were no words. None whatsoever. "You like me." Letting go, he smiled up at me, that angelic face a picture of innocence. "You just aren't ready to admit it." All I could think as I gawked at him was, what an observant son of a bitch."

and this one too

"In that lovely truck with the windows fogged over, he held my hands to his chest as he kissed me like he was dying of thirst and I was his own personal bucket of water. He made that sound— that masculine, deep growl that rumbled out from him and caused a rush of heat to flood my senses."

Wicked was so so good! So much action and so much swoon.

  1. Great choice of quotes! I loved Wicked and how it was so totally different to anything else Armentrout has written - but it still couldn't quite live up to the Lux series for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, and it sounds like Armentrout has a whole new series coming out soon!
    Happy reading :)
