Top Ten of 2014: Books I'm Looking Forward To In 2015

Welcome to day five of the Top Ten of 2014 hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Reading YA Rocks, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Tales of the Ravenous Reader. Today we are sharing the books we are most looking forward to in 2015. Like I have done the past two years, I have decided not to feature an author more than once. Also, there is no particular order to the list.

Every Last Breath by: Jennifer L Armentrout- The book I am most looking forward to in 2015 is easily Every Last Breath. I just cannot wait to see how this series wraps up and I also cannot wait to get the answer to the agonizing question: Roth or Zayne?

A Court of Thorns and Roses by: Sarah J Maas- I am dying to read this book! Sarah J Maas is an incredible writer and her Throne of Glass series is easily one of my favorites so of course I need this book. Throw in that it is a Beauty and the Beast retelling and I am just done.

Ensnared by: AG Howard- This is one of my favorite series, so I am of course dying to see how it all wraps up. Not too long to wait now!

Moonlight on Nightingale Way by: Samantha Young- I adore this series and I really hope it never ends. I just know I am going to love this addition to the series.

Greta and the Glass Kingdom by: Chloe Jacobs- I have been waiting for this one forever and I am really excited to finally get it in my hands in 2015. I loved the first book and I am so ready for the story to continue.

Oblivion by: Kelly Creagh- This is another one I have been waiting forever for and I really just need this book. The unanswered questions are killing me and I miss Varen and Isobel.

Pocketful of Sand by: M Leighton- I love every single book I've read from Michelle, so naturally I am really excited for this one. It sounds great and the cover is so pretty.

Tessa Ever After by: Brighton Walsh- Caged In Winter was such a great read, and I really came to like Tessa. I cannot wait to see her and Jason's story.

The Stars Never Rise by: Rachel Vincent- Her Soul Screamers series is an all time favorite of mine, so I am really excited to see her return to YA and see what else she can do.

Sweet Temptation by: Wendy Higgins- I am so so so excited for Kai's point of view! This was such a great series and I am dying to revisit some of my favorite moment's through Kai's eyes.

Top Ten of 2014: Best Book Boyfriends

Welcome to day four of the Top Ten of 2014 hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Reading YA Rocks, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Tales of the Ravenous Reader. Today we are sharing our favorite book boyfriends from books released in 2014. Like I have done the past two years, I have decided not to feature an author more than once. Also, there is no particular order to the list.

Preston (Pieces of Olivia by: Melissa West)- In case you have missed this the numerous times I have mentioned it.... Preston. Is. Mine. I do not share when it comes to him. He quickly became one of my all time favorites this year and I seriously love him. I love him so much I featured him for my stop on the 25 Days of Book Boyfriends.

Cole (Honesty by: Carrie Butler)- I absolutely adore Cole! He is not only my favorite character in the Mark of Nexus series but he is also one of my favorite characters in general. I love how funny he is and his wit is matched by nobody. He always cracks me up and I love that he got his own story!

Roth (White Hot Kiss by: Jennifer L Armentrout)- I love Roth and the wait for Every Last Breath is going to kill me. As much as I love Zayne, it is really Roth that holds my heart. He is so funny and such a bad boy but he also has some wonderful moments.

Rowan (Heir of Fire by: Sarah J Maas)- Rowan stole my heart and quickly became my favorite secondary character of the series. I loved the progression of his character and really just everything about him.

Trent (Beautiful Oblivion by: Jamie McGuire)- Trent really surprised me and I loved him a lot more than I thought I would. I actually loved him even more than Travis. It was definitely his sense of humor that did me in... he was so funny!

Warner (Ignite Me by: Tahereh Mafi)- I love Warner and I am so sad we won't be getting any more of him. I loved watching his character progress over the course of the series and I really loved the man he became. It was great watching him become the character I knew he had the potential to be when I first met him in Shatter Me.

Jax (Stay With Me by: Jennifer L Armentrout writing as J Lynn)- I know I said I wouldn't feature an author more than once but I really could not decide between Roth and Jax so they are both going on the list. I figure since Roth is YA and Jax is NA it's okay. Jax is so so swoony and such a badass but also a wonderful guy. He is incredibly easy to love.

Lucas (Breakable by: Tammara Webber)- Lucas is one of my all time favorite book boyfriends, so of course he was going to make this list. I just love everything about him and there really isn't much else that can be said.

Kai (Sweet Reckoning by: Wendy Higgins)- Kai is such an awesome character. Such a bad boy but still a good guy. He has grown so much since book one and I love who he has become. He is seriously swoony and made my heart melt so many times.

Logan (Wild by: Sophie Jordan)- I have loved Logan since we first met him in Foreplay but he just sealed the deal in Wild. I loved getting to know him and he is such a wonderful book boyfriend.

Top Ten of 2014: Best Couples

Welcome to day three of the Top Ten of 2014 hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Reading YA Rocks, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Tales of the Ravenous Reader. Today we have a choice and I decided to share my favorite couples from books I read in 2014. Like I have done the past two years, I have decided not to feature an author more than once. Also, there is no particular order to the list.

Preston and Olivia (Pieces of Olivia by: Melissa West)- Preston. Is. Mine. The only person I share him with is Olivia and that is because I kind of have to. These two are so perfect together.

Warner and Juliette (Ignite Me by: Tahereh Mafi)- I love Warner and Juliette together and how they really do make one another stronger.

Knox and Charlie (Hard Knox by: Nicole Williams)- I cannot even begin to explain how much I loved this book and a big reason was I really loved the relationship between Knox and Charlie.

Katy and Daemon (Opposition by: Jennifer L. Armentrout)- Deciding which JLA couple I wanted to pick was torture because I love all of them, but as this is the last Lux book I just had to feature Katy and Daemon. These two are the ones who introduced me to JLA and therefore will always have a very special place in my heart.

Lucas and Jacqueline (Breakable by: Tammara Webber)- I love that I get to feature this couple again. I love them together and they are definitely an all time favorite couple of mine.

Jace and Clary (City of Heavenly Fire by: Cassandra Clare)- I really cannot believe that this series is over. It has been a part of my life for so long now and therefore I had to feature Clary and Jace. I just love those two.

Georgia and Logan (Wild by: Sophie Jordan)- I never expected to see these two together, which is why I was surprised by how much I absolutely adored them as a couple.

Cole and Shannon (Echoes of Scotland Street by: Samantha Young)- Another wonderful addition to this series that delivered a couple I simply loved.

Brand and Nora (Until We Fly by: Courtney Cole)- This one hurt in a lot of ways and I really loved watching these two grow together.

Trent and Cami (Beautiful Oblivion by: Jamie McGuire)- This was one that really snuck up on me. I never expected to love these two as much as I did.

Top Ten of 2014: Best Books I've Read

Welcome to day one of the Top Ten of 2014 hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Reading YA Rocks, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and Tales of the Ravenous Reader. Today we are sharing our favorite reads of 2014. Like I have done the past two years, I have decided not to feature an author more than once. Also, there is no particular order to the list.

Hard Knox by: Nicole Williams- I really stressed over picking my favorite book of the year. I went back and forth so many times and I just had a really hard time settling on one. There were a couple of books that I kept bouncing around with.... but in the end I finally realized that Hard Knox was my favorite book of 2014. Months later I still find myself thinking about Knox and Charlie and I really just loved everything about their story. It had a great romance but it also had a great storyline that kept the reader glued to the pages.

Heir of Fire by: Sarah J Maas- This is a very very very close second to Hard Knox and honestly it is really like Favorites 1 and 1A because both books are so different and really cannot be compared. But anyhoo.. it is no secret how much I absolutely adore this series so of course Heir of Fire made my favorite list. The book was just seriously epic. It also gave me a new character to love in Rowan.

Pieces of Olivia by: Melissa West- I adored this book so much and it was one that took me completely by surprise! I fell in love with Olivia and Preston's story and Preston quickly became one of my all time favorite book boyfriends!

Stone Cold Touch by: Jennifer L Armentrout- I am sure this one is no surprise to anyone who knows me. We all know JLA is my favorite author, so of course one of her books was going to show up on this list. The hard part was picking just one of her books for this list, because I could probably fill up the top ten list with just her books. I settled on Stone Cold Touch because it gave me all the feels and I just love how the book got under my skin and into my heart. Layla, Roth, and Zayne are such great characters.

Ignite Me by: Tahereh Mafi- I absolutely loved this book! It was such an amazing conclusion and it really surprised me. I love the way it all wrapped up and the romance was just so wonderful. Also... WARNER.

Starling by: Fiona Paul- This series has just gotten better and better and this book was a wonderful conclusion. This also marked the first time I completely switched teams between books one and three. I love the way the mystery and romance intertwined and could not have asked for a better final book.

Breakable by: Tammara Webber- It's Lucas... of course Breakable made the list. I think I actually enjoyed Breakable even more than I did Easy. I thought this was a fabulous alternate POV and I really loved getting to see Lucas' side of things and his backstory (which broke me).

Nowhere But Here by: Renee Carlino- This one just filled me with all of the feels. The story was so beautiful and broke my heart and then fixed it. Also, I love that Jamie is such a good guy.

Echoes of Scotland Street by: Samantha Young- I absolutely love this series and this book was no exception. I loved seeing Cole all grown up and he became such a wonderful man. I also loved visiting my favorite fictional family again.

There's Wild Then There's You by: M Leighton- I had been looking forward to this book for so long and it did not disappoint. Jet was just as swoony as I thought he would be. I also loved that I got to buddy read it with my bookish BFF Michele so that made me love it all the more. Also... that cover *drools*
