Ooh, such a great list! Love HP, of course. I still need to read Lord of the Rings, Wuthering Heights, Gone With the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, ect, ect... :)

Harry Potter is definitely a classic these days! Loved it!

Have a GREAT day!

YAY! (Ok, kinda off topic, but that review you recently commented on? I was THINKING it was a Wuthering Heights retelling, but I couldn't be sure, since I had only read WH one time. But, yeah. LOL.) But Pride and & Prejudice! When I first had to read it in HS, I was like I'm going to hate this. Imagine my surprise when I LOVED it! I also love you included HP as a classic! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is a fantastic classic. I absolutely adored it! Great list.
ReplyDeleteI'm twirling right now 'cause I am loving some of these picks! I'm a big LotR fan :) And or course HP!! Narnia books are so wonderful and I remember picking that one up so long ago! This post has me all nostalgic!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big classics fan, I haven't read any of these. I would like to check out The Count of Monte Cristo because i love revenge books. And I love the movie :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice list! Wuthering Heights is a book I read so many times in my teens. I would also have Rebecca and To Kill a Mockingbird. And I love that you have HP!
ReplyDeleteI remember A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM being kind of weird but also good and fun. I still haven't finished the Harry Potter series! And DRACULA, I need to read that, because VAMPIRES.

Oh I so love Pride and Prejudice! Great picks.
ReplyDeleteSeeing those perfect picks up there, it is no wonder you and I found each other -- it was meant to be. Lovely choices! There is one listed that I have never read, and you're going to be shocked: This southern belle of the ball has never read Gone With the Wind *runs and hides* Awesome post, Wifey *smoosh*
ReplyDeleteWuthering Heights is a great book! I really love how it's written as a story within a story, of sorts :) Also, Heathcliff... Need I say more? He is awesome!
