Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge 2014: July: Adult

So this year Readers Live A Thousand Lives, Corrie The Book Crazed Girl, and Lovin' Los Libros have teamed up to host the Jumble Your Genres Reading Challenge! For this challenge, the goal is to mix up the genres/categories we read. We have all had those times when we have gotten stuck in the genre/category we are currently reading and read nothing else for a while. The goal here is to mix that up! Each month we will feature a different genre/category and the goal is to read and review one book or more in that genre/category during that month. This month we are focusing on Adult. If you want to find out more and join in, go sign up here.

This is a pretty broad topic and a lot of books can fall into it, but some of my favorites are:

I'm not sure why, but picking a book to read for this month was incredibly tough. There are just a lot of Adult reads I want to dive into so narrowing it down took a while. I finally decided on Teaching Willow: Session One. I have heard a ton of great things about this series, so this is the perfect excuse to get started. Plus July is super busy time for me at work so short and sweet (and steamy) is exactly what I need!

  1. You are so right. There are so many good adult books out there. I'm still choosing. Not sure yet what I'll read for this months challenge.

  2. Oh! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Teaching Willow! I've been eyeing that one for awhile! :) I love those Adult reads! Yay for Michelle Leighton! I definitely need to read Samantha Young (STILL!), as well as Unchained and Obsession! Sigh. You're making me remember books I wanted to get read this summer and now summer is flying by!!! :)

  3. I just love your favorites and you pick for this challenge! I totally added it to my TBR list 'cause it just sounds like am amazing read!! :D I still need to read Tempting the Bodyguard, but I know I'll love it!! :D

*MAJOR MUGGLE HUGGLES* 'Cause you so rock!

  4. What a great challenge! I'm doing a self challenge myself and that is to read more YA even if it's just for this month. I've been ignoring a few badass YA titles and I need to get over my YA ban because not all YA books are created the same. Some of them are really really great! Good luck with your challenge, your selection looks good... and hawt!

  5. So many great choices! I loved Lust For Life and On Dublin Street. I hope you like Teaching Willow, it is so angsty and twisted, but fun.

  6. I feel terrible that I didn't know I was suppose to do these post! LOL >.<

I have an array of Adult titles to read too!

    1. haha you don't have to do these... we do them because we are the hosts =] you just have to link up your review...can't wait to see what you read!

  7. Read most of those and I agree! Love Obsession!

  8. Oh, hai, Mr. Carmichael! So many great titles up there!! I'm going to want to know all your thoughts on Teaching Willow *Rawr*

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
