"Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.

As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…"

My Thoughts:

I don’t think this is going to come as a surprise to anyone, especially those who know me, but I friggin adored this book. We all know JLA is my favorite author and with each and every book that fact is just cemented. I have so much love for this book and the story and the characters.

Teresa is a great heroine and she wasn’t really what I was expecting, she was even better. Also she has a fantastic name! Teresa is strong and that will probably come as a surprise to some who know her past, but it is the truth. She has grown into such a strong woman and she refuses to be a victim ever again. She is a feisty character with a bit of quirk to her. I really loved her character.

Then there is Jase and gosh that boy is lovely. As we have come to expect from JLA, Jase is oh so swoony and I totally fell for him. How could you not? He is sexy and charming and funny and he brings cupcakes! Not to say he didn’t have his moments and there were some moments where I wanted to shake sense into him, but in the end he is a great guy. I was surprised to find that of the two, Jase had more demons to deal with than Teresa, which was not what I expected. There is a whole lot more to Jase than meets the eye.

I think my favorite thing about this story is that it was more than just a romance. Don’t get me wrong, the story is heavily romance and a good romance, but there is also some suspense to the story. I just thought that really added another layer to the story and gave it some more depth. It kept my heart racing a mile a minute, because not only was I wholeheartedly invested in Jase and Teresa’s relationship, but I was also invested in the danger thrown in. I didn’t know what I wanted answers to first and it was great!

Of course I absolutely loved seeing Cam and Avery again because I adore those two! They are so cute together and I love seeing them happy with each other. Also there was one moment with them that made me flail like a muppet baby because it was so awesome.

Be With Me was a fantastic read and one fans of Wait For You should not miss! It is a great romance, with some lovely steamy yet sweet moments and just a good story. Another one for me to add to my re-read pile.
