M. Leighton's Mood Music Contest of Awesomeness!

Winner has been chosen and contacted.

M. Leighton is celebrating the release of WILD CHILD by doing an amazing contest. We want to know...

What Music Would You Choose???

We all know that music can enhance a story as it tells a story of it's own. We want to know what music would you pick for M. Leighton's new novella, WILD CHILD!

All you have to do is comment on this post or put it on my Facebook page using the hashtag #WildChildPlaylist with your playlist. Make a Spotify or Grooveshark playlist, save it as your WILD CHILD playlist (ex: Teresa's Wild Child Playlist) and post the link in the comments or FB post. We'll choose a winner on October 28th!

Didn't read Wild Child yet? No worries! Just give it your best shot! Nobody is grading the songs you pick!

What could you win?? Great question!

The winner will get a prize pack that includes a signed copy of THE WILD ONES, a WILD CHILD t-shirt, a WILD CHILD charm bracelet and a key chain, plus signed bookmarks!

So that's it! Go make your playlist and then come back here and let us know!

Jenna Theopolis has always known what she wanted.  Getting out of her small hometown of Greenfield was number one on her list of priorities.  Until she met Rusty Catron.

Rusty’s fun-loving personality was the perfect match for Jenna’s inner wild child.  But what started off as a summer fling quickly turns into something more.  At least it does for Jenna.

Rusty has lived with the ghost of his father’s abandonment since he was a child, but now he’s beginning to feel the crippling effects of his scars.  He wants to trust in Jenna, but deep down he doesn’t believe someone so wild and free can ever be tamed.

But tragedy strikes, pushing Jenna out of Greenfield and leaving Rusty with a choice to make—face his inner demons or lose the love of his life.  Forever.

Here is the playlist I made for Wild Child to help you get some inspiration!

About M. Leighton:

M. Leighton is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Wild Ones and The Bad Boys romance trilogies.  She is a native of Ohio, relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she lets her mind wander to romantic settings with sexy Southern guys much like the one she married and the ones you'll find in her latest books.  When her thoughts aren't roaming in that direction, she'll be riding horses, swimming in ponds and experiencing life on a ranch, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.

  1. The first song that comes into my mind is Mean by Taylor Swift (I'm not even listening to her music xD). Anyhow it seems like an interesting contest :)

  2. I have three picks for this awesome, fun contest:

    1) Wild World by Cat Stevens (love the lyrics "Because I never wanna see you a sad, girl, don't be a bad girl")
    2) Real Wild Child by Iggy Pop
    3) Wild Horses by The Sundays (normally I'd prefer The Stones, but The Sundays give it such a softer feel, and I love this: "Faith has been broken and tears must be cried..Let's do some living after we die...Wild horses couldn't drag me away) Gah, I love that song. lol

I love your playlist -- thanks so much for sharing!

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
