Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

I'm excited for this topic, there are so many books I would love to see on the big screen, as long as they do it right! So this list is obviously set in a perfect world where movies are done perfectly. Also just a note, I included some books that have been optioned for film anyway because there is no guarantee we will actually get that movie until it is green lit.

1. Splintered by: A.G. Howard - The world in this book is amazing and I think it would be incredible on screen. There are so many creatures I would love to see and umm Morpheus!

2. Lost & Found by: Nicole Williams - I just love this book so obviously I would love a quick and easy way to relive it time and time again. Also, come on, Jesse Walker is shirtless at times.

3. Obsidian by: Jennifer L. Armentrout - Aliens... but schemxy aliens... hasn't been overdone in Hollywood... plus Daemon would love to spread his awesomeness.

4. Hush, Hush by: Becca Fitzpatrick - PATCH CIPRIANO! I love this series so so so much and therefore I would love it to be a movie.

5. Something Strange and Deadly by: Susan Dennard - Yeah the zombie thing has been done before, but I feel like this would be a really cool and different type of zombie story to be made into a movie. Still gruesome little guys, but with a steampunk twist.

6. Slammed by: Colleen Hoover - I would give anything to see Will Cooper performing his slam poetry... ANYTHING!

7. Anna Dressed In Blood by: Kendare Blake - Come on, this would be an awesomely creepy movie.

8. The Iron King by: Julie Kagawa - First, I want a real life Ash to cuddle. Second, the world is so awesome and would make for a great fantasy movie.

9. Clockwork Angel by: Cassandra Clare - As excited as I am about TMI being made into movies, I actually think I want to see TID as a movie even more. Probably has to do with a certain Will Herondale.

10. Throne of Glass by: Sarah J. Maas - This would make for an awesome movie. Between the challenges and the romance and magic, it would be insane!

What made your list?

  6. Great picks, Teresa. And I think you may get your wish with Slammed. :) Yeah, seeing Will perform his poetry would be amazing. *sigh* Oh, and who would play Daemon??? Just curious who you see spreading his awesomeness on the screen. :)

  7. I've only read HUSH, HUSH and ANNA DRESSED IN BLOOD, both of which (I believe, the latter for sure) are going to be movies! And I'm in the middle of SPLINTERED and it could definitely be an interesting movie!

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
