Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

This was an incredibly hard list to put together, probably the hardest I have had to do yet. Most books I read are somehow part of a series and I tend to fall more in love with a series as it progresses. Very rarely does the first book in a series remain my favorite. There are so many sequels I love but after a very long time, I finally narrowed it down to these ten.

1. Unravel Me by: Tahereh Mafi - I had liked Shatter Me, but this is the book that made me crazy over this series. I got to see the Warner I always knew was in there somewhere. In my opinion, it blew Shatter Me out of the water.

2. Clockwork Princess by: Cassandra Clare - This book makes it onto most of my lists somehow, but its just so good! My favorite of the three by far and just an amazing sequel in an already amazing series!

3. Origin by: Jennifer L. Armentrout - This book! Gahh it was fantastic! This is what I call the game changing sequel, because nothing in this series will ever be the same again.

4. The Evolution of Mara Dyer by: Michelle Hodkin - I love this series because it always keeps me guessing. I thought this book would give me answers, but now I think I just have more questions, but that is a good thing because the book made me want more.

5. Near & Far by: Nicole Williams - This is a great sequel because we got to read from Jesse's POV! Also because it gave us the closure Jesse and Rowen needed. It put them to the test and showed that their relationship was worth the work. Plus... JESSE!

6. Finale by: Becca Fitzpatrick - OMG this book slapped me right in the feels, but it was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end the series.

7. Crown of Midnight by: Sarah J. Maas - This is a situation very similar to the Shatter Me series. I really liked Throne of Glass, but when I read Crown of Midnight I knew that this series had me hooked. I loved Choal's bigger role and the swoons there were so many swoons!

8. Before I Wake by: Rachel Vincent - This is easily my favorite book in the series. I love the plot and the story. I also really love all the Tod and Kaylee swoons.

9. Point of Retreat by: Colleen Hoover - I. Loved. This. Book. I loved seeing Will and Layken in their new life. It also made my sob, but loved it anyway.

10. The Iron Queen by: Julie Kagawa - I wasn't sure if I wanted to include this book or The Iron Knight on this list but went with The Iron Queen because we get more Ash and Meghan time.

What made your list?

  4. Totally love your list, and I don't think I've read any of the books on it, haha. I'm finally reading Mortal Instruments, but I have yet to get to Clockwork Princess. Totally need to read Kagawa, Armentrout, Mafi, Hodkin, and Vincent. All on my TBR list. Hopefully soon! :D Great list!

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
