"When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.

Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.

An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.

With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive."

My Thoughts:

First things first, there is no way I can write this review without including spoilers for Down To You and Up To Me simply because so much of what happens in those two books shape the events in this one. It will be spoiler free for Everything For Us

I’m not going to lie; I was a bit leery about Everything For Us. Don’t get me wrong I was excited for it, like I am with all M. Leighton books, but I was worried I wouldn’t love Nash and Marissa as much as I did Cash and Olivia. Really though, there was no need for me to worry. I easily came to love both of these characters in a completely different way from Olivia and Cash. This book was so addictive and just plain good. I loved seeing this series come to its conclusion. Although I’m sad it’s time to say goodbye.

Marissa worried me a lot simply because I hated her in the first two books. However, I’ll give credit where credit is due; Marissa comes a long way in this one. Her abduction changed her and made her take a look at her life and she didn’t like what she saw. She makes decisions for her and her alone and pretty much makes a one-eighty. I have to say I actually really like the person she became.

Then we have Nash. Nash is very rough around the edges and he has a lot of walls. Actually I don’t think walls adequately describes it, more like steel fortresses. He sees nothing but revenge and anger. He wants no attachments and trusts no one. In his mind there is nothing more important than exacting revenge against those that ruined his family and his life. But underneath all of that, there is still the Nash who was buried seven years ago. And that Nash is a great guy and one that any girl would be lucky to have, even if Nash doesn’t realize that.

The chemistry between Nash and Marissa is scorching hot. Some of the scenes between those two…. Holy fu- hell. In honor of Nash, I censored myself there. But back to the point, as with most of her books, this one requires a cool down. The chemistry and intensity practically leap off the pages.

Not only is the book hot, but the story line is also intense. Everything with the Davenport brothers past finally comes to a head. It is time for it all to end one way or another. While the story was heavily focused on Nash and Marissa, we still got the closure to the storyline that began in Down To You and I can’t say I was disappointed.

Now we all know I’m a Cash fangirl, so we all knew this was coming. I loved getting to see Cash and Olivia again in this one. Even though they were on the sidelines, it was nice because I missed them. Cash managed to make me swoon even though he was no longer the main guy. Cash fans are going to find a lot to love in this one. Well other than Nash that is, cause Nash is yummy.

All in all, Everything For Us was everything I hoped it would be and more. It was steamy and sexy and sweet. It was also addictive and unputdownable. There is a reason M. Leighton is one of my favorite authors and a book like this just proves my point. This is a book all romance fans need to read.
