Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

I LOVE this weeks topic. Great beginnings grab you and great endings stay with you forever, so I cant wait to share my favorites.

1. Clockwork Princess by: Cassandra Clare- Best. Epilogue. Ever. This epilogue made me cry like a baby... uncontrollable sobbing. Upon finishing it took me a good hour to finally calm down. Not only was the epilogue great, but the conclusion to the series in general was just fantastic. I don't think I have ever loved the way a series wrapped up as much as I loved this one. (Hence my new TID inspired tattoo on my back)

2. The Sea of Tranquility by: Katja Millay- That last sentence is the best last sentence EVER. The two words!!! It was just so beautiful and perfect.

3. If You Stay by: Courntey Cole- This book opens up in such a risky, but amazing, way. I was stunned and I loved it!

4. The Iron Knight by: Julie Kagawa- I absolutely loved the last few pages of this book. Ash will forever be a favorite of mine and that little speech of his always makes me melt.

5. Deity by: Jennifer L. Armentrout- Crazy cliffhanger ending... yes.... but OH MY it was awesome.

6. Opal by: Jennifer L. Armentrout- Yes a mean and evil cliffhanger, but come on.... it was amazing! And Daemon's last words *swoon*

7. Losing Hope by: Colleen Hoover- "and sometimes I find her at night, too... on Skype" ---> nuff said

8. This Girl by: Colleen Hoover- Will butterflying Cooper people! The epilogue in this book was the absolute perfect was the close out this amazing trilogy.

9. With All My Soul by: Rachel Vincent- Another fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series. I love what Rachel did with this book. I especially loved the last chapter for Tod reasons and for other spoilery reasons I will not go into.

10. Flawed by: Kate Avelynn- This ending absolutely destroyed me. It was completely unexpected and heartbreaking and resulted in days of crying.

What made your list?

  1. I've only read a few of those. Clockwork Princess, Opal, With all my Soul(actually I haven't quite finished this one yet - still have a 100 pages to go - but it'll be done tonight.)

I've swayed to Tod's side. Come see my tease. Marilyn @ Marilyn's Mystery Blog

    1. AHHH YAY! I knew Tod would capture your heart =]

  2. Oh I forgot Deity *facepalm* But yeah what a great ending. Also The Sea of Tranquility but it's hard to point out just ending. Great list Teresa :)

  3. I just love Jennifer L. Armentrout. Seriously amazing series. I hope it makes it to the big screen some day! Thanks for stopping by my TTT.

    YA Sisterhood

  4. I think The Sea of Tranquility has my favorite ending ever! So beautiful and perfect! Clockwork Princess is definitely another that would have made my list for that epilogue!

  5. Ooh, I was thinking of If You Stay also! So glad we chose 3 of the same. You're right! Great minds think alike! :D Crap. I have Flawed by Kate Avelynn. And now I'm terrified. And I almost put With All My Soul too! I was crying at the end of that one myself!

    1. No dont be terrified! Flawed is a beautiful book!

  6. Yep. Forgot about With All My Soul and Deity! I suck! LOVED the ending for Losing Hope! Awesome list!

  8. Completely agree with the opening of If You Stay and ending of TSoT. Great list, Teresa!

  9. Can I just say, YES YES YES!! This was a great list with awesome books that have the greatest openings and endings! :) I really need to get to The Sea of Tranquility.
I also need to get to the rest of Clare's books ( I know, shame on me) :)

    Loving this list, Teresa!

  10. So gotta agree with these! I haven't read Sea of Tranquility but I want to.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
