Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

This is a tough topic for me, since most of the books I read lately are dark and hurt, but I will try my best to feature some light and fun books. Also, I'm sure everyone's definition of light and fun is different. So for me, in comparison to some of the books I read, these are light and fun.

1. Summer's Crossing by: Julie Kagawa- Puck narrates this novella, which is like the definition of fun. It is a novella, so it is a very quick read and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

2. Firelight by: Sophie Jordan- There is lots of teen angst to be found, but for the most part it is just a quick fun read about dragons.

3. The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe by: CS Lewis- I loved this book as a kid and it still remains one of my go to books when I just need something fun and something that won't break my heart.

4. Deadly Little Secret by: Laurie Faria Stolarz- This one is a bit of a stretch, as it deals with mystery and murder, but for me it was quick and a good story.

5. The Princess Bride by: William Goldman- This is a hysterical read and I loved every minute of it.

6. Significance by: Shelly Crane- This book is the definition of a light and fun read! So sweet.

7. Inbetween by Tara Fuller- This is another one with angst, but for the most part it is just really really sweet and cute.

8. Finn Finnegan by: Darby Karchut- This book was so funny and it really doesnt take itself too seriously!

9. Beautiful Bastard by: Christina Lauren- This is the epitome of light and fun. There isn't much to the plot and the romance is smokin!

10. Make It Last by: Bethany Lopez- This is a very quick read and a very cute one too!

What made your list? Link me.

  1. I can't believe I haven't read many of these. I've heard of them but haven't read them. But I agree with your first pick. When you have Puck as a narrator you will laugh out laud ;) Even though I'm team Ash all the way Puck is a sweetheart. Great list Teresa :)

  2. I keep thinking I should do a TTT, but then I forget and end up doing a Teaser instead. This weeks on The Indigo Spell if you want to come and check it out.
BTW I haven't read any of the books above but they all sound like fun reads.

  4. Wooo! I almost put Firelight on mine too! I thought it was a good one. I need to read the last book in the series still though. Otherwise, I've got to add a few of these to the TBR!!

Thanks for stopping by my TTT earlier Teresa!

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
