Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

This week is all about those words or topics that make us immediately want to read a book.

1. Vampires: I know there are a lot of vampire books out there, but I am just a sucker for vampire books. Any type of vampire really, I can read about them forever.

2. Angels/ Nephilim: I love books with angel lore and while most of the books seem to be hit or miss, I usually give the book a shot.

3. Jennifer L. Armentrout: Does an author count as a topic? No... well I am including her because I will literally read anything she writes and I have to date. There has never been a book by her I disliked.

4. Shadowhunters: Yeah, I know this really only applies to one author.. but I love Shadowhunters and I will forever read about them.

5. Broken Characters: I love stories about characters who are broken and find each other. Books along the lines of Hopeless, On Dublin Street, and Ten Tiny Breaths.

6. New Adult: I love this genre and I am pretty much willing to give most of it a try!

7. Bad Boys: Yeah yeah... this is an obvious one.

8. Fae: I think fae are cool because they are sweet and pretty but with a deadly side as well.

9. Strong Heroines: Here I am referring to the Katniss Everdeen and Celaena Sardothien type characters. The type of heroine where the girl is truly the hero with or without a guy!

10. Pararomance: I love me some paranormal romance, always have always will.

What made your list? Link me.

  4. I need to find some good NA books... all the ones I've read or looked at were just not what I was hoping the genre would be. I was SO excited when it first started becoming popular, but so far it's been very ehhh for me. But of course I do love Bad Boys!! As long as they're not psycho. Cool list!

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
