Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke And The Bookish

I am a fairly new blogger, I haven't even hit the year mark yet (although it is coming up *eeep*) so I really love this weeks topic. I feel like there are so many books I love that I never got to fully flail about on my blog because I didn't have it when I read the book. This week gives me the perfect excuse to flail and I love to flail. So without further adieu, here are my favorite books I  read before I began blogging.

1. City of Glass by: Cassandra Clare- I actually read a majority of this series prior to blogging, but of all the ones I read before my blog existed, this one is probably my favorite. I love how everything finally came to a head in this one and I loved when we finally got our Jace and Clary moment.

2. The Iron Knight by: Julie Kagawa- I read all the books in this series prior to starting my blog, but this one is my favorite of that series. Partially because I got to read from Ash's POV and partially because we finally got our HEA.

3. Clockwork Angel by: Cassandra Clare- I ADORED this book! I loved meeting the ever wonderful Will Herondale and I loved seeing another part of the Shadowhunter world.

4. The Hunger Games by: Suzanne Collins- This book blew me away when I first read it.  It was my first dystopian novel and because of that it was like nothing I had ever read before. I loved Katniss and felt like she was such a great heroine.

5. The Last Olympian by: Rick Riordan- I love the Percy Jackson books, especially this one. I loved watching Percy and Annabeth grow up and I remember becoming really obsessed with Greek mythology after finishing this series.

6. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by: JK Rowling- This series holds a very special place in my heart. This is the series that made me fall in love with reading, way back when, when I was a little kid. I have visited the world time and time again and it just never gets old. Each time I re-read I find something new to love about these books.

7. The Return of the King by JRR Tolkien- I am a complete LOTR nerd. I love the books and the movies and the whole world. I got lost in this series for days when I first read them.

8. Twilight by: Stephenie Meyer- Say what you want about this series, but I loved it when I discovered it years ago. I fell head over heels in love with Edward and Jasper and Emmet and just the story in general.

9. A Dance With Dragons by: George RR Martin- These books are incredible! I loved this one in particular because I got to see a lot of my favorite character... Daenaerys.

10. Eragon by: Christopher Paolini- I really had a thing for fantasy back in the day, and this was no exception. I loved everything about this book and this series.

What is on your list? Link me.

  14. Wow, so many good books here! I love City of Glass (actually the whole first three TMI books!). The Jace and Clary moment is AWESOME!

Clockwork Angel is fantastic, too. I have mixed feelings about Clockwork Prince. I mean, I love it, but love triangles I hate, so it makes me a bit uncomfortable with the book. I haven't read Clockwork Princess yet! I'm so so so nervous!

I couldn't agree more with you about rereading HP. Everytime I find new things to love and appreciate about the series.

  20. Many good books here! Although, some of them I read after I started blogging. Harry Potter, Tolkien, Julie Kagawa and Cassandra Clare are some of my favorite books / authors. The beauty of lists like this is that you can't think of everything you've ever read, so you forget things, but then someone else remembers for you. So that's nice.

I love getting comments and appreciate every single one of them! It always brightens my day =]

This is an award free blog. I truly appreciate the thought but I simply do not have the time. Comments are an award all on their own =]
