"Meghan Chase is finally getting used to being the Iron Queen, ruler of the Iron Fey. Her life may be strange, but with former Winter prince Ash by her side at last, she wouldn’t have it any other way.
But when they travel to the Summer and Winter courts’ gathering for Elysium, the oracle from Meghan’s past returns with a dire prophecy: “What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them.” Now Meghan faces a devastating choice that may determine the future of all fey—and her and Ash’s unborn child… "

My Thoughts:

I have been meaning to post a review for this one for a while, so when I did a re-read I figured now was as good a time as any. We all know that I adore anything Iron Fey related, so naturally I just gobbled up this novella. I loved getting to see my favorite characters again. It was like one last hurrah before we transition to Ethan as the MC.

Part of the reason my favorite Iron Fey book is The Iron Knight is because we get to see Puck and Ash working side by side.. well this novella one ups that and we get to see the three of them working together and TRULY getting along. Of course Ash and Puck bicker, but that is them. Ash continues to be one of the swooniest characters out there and I will forever love him. Puck is still hysterical as always. I would be content to follow him around for ages simply watching him interact with random things. Then Meghan is simply great. She is such a truly strong heroine and does not take anything from anyone. It helps when you have Mr. Freeze backing you, but even without Ash, Meghan is very capable of holding her own.

All is all this novella is a must read for fans of the Iron Fey series and if you have not read these books yet... what the heck are you waiting for?
