Swoon Thursday #8: City of Lost Souls by: Cassandra Clare

For my Swoon this week, I decided to go into my great big book of quotes and pick one of my favorite quotes. After much debate, I finally decided on a moment from City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare:

I love this series, and I love this book. Jace will forever be one of my all time favorite characters.

    The book was a perfect mix of dark and light. Ms. Clare did an incredible job of building up the suspense for the ending fight and the characters making the decisions they did. I did not ever have to ask why a character was doing something all bases were hit and the plot had no glaring holes in it. The ending was mesmerizing I was in a state of anticipation for the whole thing. It was well done.
