So, just in case you guys have not noticed, my recent obsession has been The Wild Ones by: M. Leighton. Naturally I was dying to know some more about Trick and Cami. So what did I do? I interviewed them of course! Please join me in jumping up and down over the FIRST EVER character interview with Trick and Cami.
If you want to check out my review,  just click here.

Hi guys! Thank you so much for taking the time to come and speak with me today. Words cannot express how excited I am to have both of you here.
Let’s start off easy. If you had to describe each other in two words, what would they be and why?
Trick:  Stubborn and beautiful.
Cami:  Stubborn?
Trick: *grins*  Yes, stubborn.  You’re stubborn as a mule and you know it.  Luckily, you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, so I don’t care as much.
Cami: *smacks Trick’s arm*  Wow, you really know how to compliment a girl.
Trick: Oh, was I supposed to be going for complimentary?  *leans in to whisper in her ear*
Cami:  *giggles*  Okay, you’re forgiven.
Trick:  That’s what I thought.  So what about me?  What two words would you use to describe me?
Cami: Selfless and gifted.  I’ve never met someone who is more determined to take care of the people he loves.  Never.  I’ve also never met someone that has so many different talents.  He’s pretty amazing.
Trick:  *smiles at Cami*  Amazing.  That’s the best word to describe Cami.  In every way, she’s just amazing.

What would you say is your favorite pastime? Other than riding of course.
*both laugh*
Trick:  What is this interview rated?
Cami: *slaps Trick’s arm again*  Ohmigod, I can’t take you anywhere!
Trick: Sure you can.  *waggles eyebrows*
Cami: *rolls eyes*  He’s been like this since I said I’d marry him.  It’s all he thinks about.
Trick: Now be honest, if you were lucky enough to have the love of a girl who looks like this, wouldn’t you be thinking the same thing?
Cami:  *blushes*  Next question!  Please God, next question!

So Trick, I’m curious… when you first spilled that beer on Cami was it really accidental or were you looking for a reason to talk to her? And Cami why did you not pick treat right away?!?!
Trick: I noticed her right away, but it really was an accident.  If I hadn’t spilled the beer on her, I’d have found another way to talk to her.  Probably something equally horrifying, though.  I wouldn’t want to completely overwhelm her with my charm.
Cami: *jerks thumb toward Trick*   Can you believe this guy?  Actually, that’s a total lie.  He was so overcome by my awesomeness, he lost his balance and spilled his beer.  Right, babe?
Trick: *smiles*  Damn straight.
Cami: As for why I didn’t pick treat right away, I had to make him work for it a little, ya know?
Trick:  *laughs*  Whatever!  You were dying to pick treat!  You’re just a naughty little tease.
Cami:  *grins*  Okay, maybe I wanted to pick treat.  Just a little.

So this question is a bit spoliery, so future readers here is your warning. Cami, if Trick hadn’t have shown up at the bar that night, do you think you still would have chosen him over Brent and broke the rules for him anyway? Trick, what made you finally decide that Cami was worth the risk?
Cami:  Yes.  Definitely.  He was never far from my mind.  Even when I couldn’t see him.  It was just a matter of time before I realized I couldn’t live without him.  That I didn’t want to try.
Trick: I knew from the first moment I saw her she was worth the risk.  Worth anything.  I just needed some time to work out the logistics.
Cami:  Whatever!  You tried your damndest to resist!
Trick:  Okay, I tried, but there was no point.  She was part of my future, part of my life from the first word.  You just can’t fight that.  And who would want to?

Trick, this one is for you, what sparked your initial interest in wild horses?
Trick:  My father.  He took me to see them once when I was little.  He would make up stories about some of them, stories about their future and what amazing Quarter Horses they’d make if someone would only give them a chance.  I think, even at that age, I knew that I would come back one day, come back to rescue one.

Cami, you think and say some of greatest/funniest things, but after meeting your mother and father I have to wonder where you got your sense of humor from. So please explain?
Cami:  *laughs*  I think I just stumble into most funny things.  And with a friend like Jenna, I have to be on my toes at all times.

One last serious question, if you could go back and do it all over again, is there anything you would change?
Cami and Trick:  *at the same time*  Yes!  *both laugh*
Trick:  I wouldn’t waste one single day overthinking things with her.
Cami:  And I would’ve picked treat.

Time for some silly This or That:
Vanilla or Chocolate?
Cami: Chocolate.
Trick: Vanilla
Cami:  What?  How can you even say that?  That’s just wrong.
Trick:  What?  Vanilla’s good!
Cami: *rolls eyes*  He’s clueless.  Please overlook him.

Action or Romance?
Cami:  Romance.
Trick:  I guess I’m supposed to say action, right?  Since I’m a guy?  But there’s nothing better than a romantic comedy.
Cami: *pokes Trick in ribs*  You are such a liar.
Trick:  *laughs*  Okay, action.  Of course!  What, did I suddenly grow ovaries?

Dogs or Cats?
*both say*  Dogs.  *both laugh*

Batman or Superman?
Trick: Batman.  He has the coolest cars.
Cami:  Superman.  Because he has x-ray vision.
Trick: Wait, I want to change my answer.  *laughs*

Green or Blue?
Cami: Green, of course.  Like his eyes.  Well, sort of.
Trick:  Blue, of course.  Like her eyes.  Well, sort of.
*both laugh*
*Trick takes Cami’s hand and laces his fingers through hers*

See, now I love Trick and Cami even more than I already did. Thanks so much to the fabulous M. Leighton for taking the time and for just being awesome.
